Police say the man who died after being struck by a car on the A30 near Redruth in the early hours of Saturday morning is believed to be from Lithuania.
The man, thought to be in his thirties, was walking along the east bound carriageway when he was struck by a black Citroen Berlingo, which was being used as a taxi at the time.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident, which took place at around 12.30am, to come forward.
The deceased’s next of kin have been informed.
Anyone who witnessed the RTC or has any information which would assist police enquiries should ring the police non-emergency number 101 and quote incident reference 45 of the February 15 2014.
