THE award-winning team of liars, swindlers and cheats, Champions Of Magic perform at Hall For Cornwall on Friday, February 7.

Champions Of Magic is a showcase of four world-class magicians, including some of the foremost magic performers nationwide, as seen on Penn & Teller: Fool Us, Sky 1’s Secret World Of Magic and Channel 4’s Dirty Tricks.

With a combination of elegant classics and cutting edge alternative magic, Champions Of Magic promise that audiences will witness a mastery of card manipulation, death-defying stunts, mind-boggling sleight of hand and spectacular illusions.

The line-up of this show includes:

David Penn, the seven-times national award-winning magician and illusionist, his large-scale illusion show won him the title of British Magic Champion and also secured him a place in the Britain’s Got Talent live finals – further than any other magician. In the magic world David is recognised as an innovator and creator of a number of effects that have been used by other well-known TV magicians across the world, including Dynamo.

Fay Presto, Britain’s premier close-up magician. Voted The Magic Circle Close-up Magician of the Year 2012, Fay has been personally requested to entertain the Queen on no less than six occasions, as well as performing for every other senior member of the Royal Family.

Alex The Mind Reader, pictured, who has been described by the BBC as ‘phenomenal’, reveals words, names, places and drawings people are merely thinking of; facts about themselves he couldn’t possibly know. A truly mind-boggling performance.

Edward Hilsum, one of the world’s top young magicians, was the magician of choice at the London 2012 Olympics. He has won awards internationally and performed across the USA from New York to Las Vegas. With a combination of classical magic featuring doves and candles through to advanced sleight of hand, Edward’s magic is stylish and unbelievable.
