Late extra time winner sends Torpoint through in Senior Cup

Torpoint Athletic needed extra time to see off Godolphin Athletic in the Westinsure Cornwall Senior Cup at The Mill on Saturday.
The game was level after 90 minutes at 1-1 but Darren Edwards' Carlsberg South West Peninsula League premier division side scored a late winner to end the hopes of high-riding division one west side Godolphin.
Elsewhere in the second round, there were plenty of goals. Last season's runners-up, Saltash United, triumphed 7-0 at ECPL side Probus, St Dennis hit seven against Mousehole, Liskeard were 6-0 winners at Foxhole, Dobwalls saw off Hayle 4-2, and St Blazey were 4-1 winners at Wendron.

The draw for the third round takes place next Saturday, December 8, live on BBC Radio Cornwall at 5pm.
