A man who is believed to have fallen on his boat during last night's bad weather has been rescued this morning and airlifted to hospital.
A call was made to the coastguard at around 5.30pm yesterday when a crew from Falmouth was sent out.
A spokesman for Falmouth Coastguard said: "We think he had a fall on board. He sustained fractures to his leg and rib.We couldn't get him off [the vessel] last night because the weather was too bad."
The vessel was brought into Falmouth Bay this morning, where a helicopter from RNAS Culdrose winched the man to Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro.
His current condition is unknown.
