Police are warning of ice on the roads in Cornwall.

Ice on the roads has caused problems for motorists in Cornwall this morning.

Police said traffic was affected between Liskeard and Pensilva after an accident on the B3254 near the Rosecraddoc Manor turn.

Police reported hazardous driving conditions on the A390 in both directions between Liskeard and Callington.

Cornwall Council gritters are on their way to the area.

A severe weather warning is in place today and the Met Office has warned of heavy rain and strong winds coming in this afternoon.
