A SLEW of objections have been registered against re-submitted plans to build six houses in a hamlet near Truro.
Plans for a site at Penelewey Caravan Park were rejected by Cornwall Council members in July last year and will now be heard again by the council's central area planning committee on Monday.
People in the area have registered 11 objections to the development on the grounds that it would constitute over-development and be visually intrusive.
Council planning officers have recommended approval and said the scheme is an acceptable form of sustainable development.
The planning meeting will take place at 2pm in the chamber of the council offices on Penwinnick Road, St Austell.
