A FAMILY farming business from near Truro has come to the Royal Cornwall Show for the past 32 years.

Debbie Christophers, from Rosehill Ayrshires, at St Allen, near Truro, said it was a highlight of the year.

"We're hooked," she said. "It's been going very well and we're really pleased."

Ms Christophers' daughter Megan was getting some hands-on experience of the family business, leading the prizewinning dairy cow Magenta.

Ms Christophers said the show was also a good opportunity to get the public involved with farming.

She said: "We want the public to see that milk doesn't just come from Tesco – it comes from a cow."
