THE governing body of Godolphin Primary School has announced that Lucy Wandless has started as a permanent, full-time head teacher.

The chairman of governors, Andrew Rowland, said: "I feel that this is a very exciting time for the school and a great way to start the new year. Mrs Wandless has made a huge impact since joining us in September as acting head teacher and we look forward to her leading the school forward."
