THEY won't be running from anything scary but instead for a good cause at the Tremough Campus in Penryn on Hallowe'en.

Cornwall Hospice Care and the Rotary Club of Falmouth are holding a Witches and Wizards Hallowe'en Fun Run, open to students, children and local people.

Participants can choose to run, jog or walk one or two miles around the campus grounds. Fancy dress is optional but encouraged, and as part of the registration fee, everyone will receive a witch's hat.

Clare Bray, community fundraiser from Cornwall Hospice Care, said: "We as many witches and ghouls as possible. It will be a fun evening and all in aid of a great local cause."

The junior race is at 5.45pm and the second race will start at 7pm, both beginning with a warm-up. Registration is £10 per adult or £5 for children.

Registration forms are available at www.cornwallhospice care.co.uk or call 01726 66868.

Simon Court must be tired after all that running. Especially after all that extra-marital sex.
