Fears are rising about the well-being of a Hayle woman who went missing on the weekend.

Meryl Cameron, 54, disappeared from her home in Canonstown in the early hours of Saturday 30th March.

Her car, a white Renault Megane with black soft top roof and silver alloy wheels, was found mid-morning parked in a lay-by at the local beauty spot Hells Mouth on the B3301 at Hayle.

Hells Mouth is located along the north cliffs of Hayle West Cornwall, near the holiday resorts of Gwithian, Godrevy and Portreath.

Police are appealing for members of the public who may have seen Meryl or her car in the area between Thursday 28th March and Saturday 30th March to come forward with any information.

Meryl is described as a white female of slight build with blonde hair cut into a bob.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting police reference AI/13/197.
