MAJOR WILEY, the blues singer-songwriter veteran of the 1960s Greenwich Village folk scene depicted in the Coen Brothers' film Inside Llewyn Davies, returns to Cornwall this week.

Major has been described by his sometime-accomplice blues fiddle maestro Dave Sugarbeet as "a force of nature".

Over the past few years Major has developed a following in Cornwall where those that know him and his work acknowledge that when he walks into a room the whole atmosphere changes.

You can see him on Friday at the Blue Anchor, Helston, Saturday at the Queens's Head, St Ives, and Sunday at the Watersports Centre, Falmouth.

Dave Sugarbeet will be supporting on all three dates and Jonathan Xavier Coudrille will also be appearing on Sunday.
