FESTIVE shoppers snapped up unusual and unique presents at Mylor's annual Christmas gift fair.

Organiser Jan Robson said: "The event went amazingly well and stallholders commented on excellent trading."

The event at the Tremayne Hall featured the work of more than 25 local artisans, from jewellery and bags to plants and food.

Music was provided throughout the day, including handbell ringing, fiddle playing and children from the village school singing.

Mrs Robson added: "Comments I was given include excellent variety of goods, fantastic atmosphere, fantastic food and lovely to have music all day."
