A DECISION on whether in Goonhavern will see almost two dozen homes built will be made next week.
Cornwall Council sub-area planning committee will decide whether plans to build 23 houses on land just west of Pollards Close should be given the go ahead on Monday.
All off the proposed homes would be sold under the affordable housing scheme.
But the plans have provoked strong feelings in the community with more than 50 people registering objections on the council’s planning website.
Rita Callan wrote: “I am writing to you to object to the proposed plan to build off Pollards Close on the grounds of traffic flow, parking and safety.
“It would also affect children playing and crossing the road, of course children are used to residents coming and going, but more to the point, residents are aware of and watch out for children.
“More traffic can only mean more danger!”
