A SEA of running Santas descended on Land's End on Saturday for the attraction’s third annual Santa Fun Run in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care.

Hundreds of Santas of all ages raising money for the worthy cause took on a one or two mile course around the site after a Santa warm up from 1pm.

Pendeen Band provided musical entertainment for runners and watchers on what was a brisk but clear day.

Rose Wiltshire, Cornwall Hospice Care's major events officer, said: “The Santa Fun Runs are open to everyone as you can run, jog or walk along the one mile route or two mile route.”
