GODOLPHIN is holding what could be the country's first barefoot festival this weekend.
The country house event will be a celebration of bare feet organised by the National Trust.
The barefoot trail at Godolphin, launched in April, has attracted hundreds of visitors to experience different sensations under their feet.
This Sunday will see barefoot activities on offer, from running to yoga.
Children will be able to get their bare feet painted and a podiatrist and reflexologist will talk about the benefits of barefooting.
The barefoot festival will take place from 10am to 4pm. It is free to National Trust members and there will be a reduced entry fee for the day of £2 to non-members.
