HEARTLANDS at Pool is staging its first bonfire and fireworks night on Monday.
Local people are invited along to enjoy the celebration, which includes live music and entertainment.
Thanks to support from councillors and businesses, including Ward Williams Associates and Linden Homes, the event is free, although car parking charges apply.
The evening will begin with the lighting of the bonfire at 6.30pm, and the fireworks will be set off at about 7.30pm.
Entertainment on the evening will include fairground rides, food stalls and live music from students from Cornwall College's dBs music in the Red River Café. SKA band, Rudi's Message will provide the headline music act for the evening.
Vicky Martin, CEO of the Heartlands Trust, said: "It's been a while since there has been a community bonfire night here in Pool, so we're ready to make it one to remember.
"Our fireworks at our launch and Flame Festival brought gasps from everyone, and this display will be bigger and better.
"We look forward to seeing everyone there and we are grateful to our supporters for their contributions to allow this evening to go ahead and be free to the public."
Due to limits on car parking capacity and the numbers expected to attend, visitors are advised to take public transport or be prepared to park further away from the attraction and walk to the site.
