Firefighters scramble to fire in Nanpean

Firefighters were called to Nanpean this afternoon following reports of a fire at a commercial property.

Fire crews from St Dennis and St Austell were scrambled to the scene after the fire, which involved pipes, broke out at around 12.45pm.

A representative from Cornwall Fire and Rescue said: “On arrival crews found the fire to be well alight. Crews used two breathing apparatus and two hose-reels to extinguish the fire, which was confirmed accidental.”
