The finest beasts in Cornwall were on show in Truro for the city’s Primestock show.
The much-loved agricultural show brought the countryside into the heart of the city in a marquee on Lemon Quay.
Rick and Ivor Cobbledick from Warbstow near Launceston won the coveted supreme champion title with their heifer Amber.
Nigel and Oliver Penellum from Illogan took the prize for reserve champion with with Kerenza 2nd, a South Devon heifer.
Cattle judge Clive Davis from Kidderminster told the crowd that gathered around the parade ring he was "extremely impressed" by the show.
"What a terrific set of cattle," he said.
"This is such an important event to bring farming into the town. It's so important for the future of farming."
