ST DAY wrapped up second place in the Jolly's Combination League – their best ever finish – with a 4-1 win at Penryn last week.

Goals by Ryan Trathen, Mikey Davis, Chris Tolley and Terry Rowe gave them their 27th win of the season, with Ryan Reeve getting the Penryn consolation.

A Chris Madeley goal was enough to give Perranwell a 1-0 win at Wendron United, a result which saw them overtake Ludgvan for third place.

Long serving Pendeen manager Andre Peters, who is stepping down after 17 years in charge at Borlase Park, was unable to sign off with a win, as his side lost 2-1 at Falmouth Athletic, with Quaid Saunder and Tim Hurrell on target for the home side.
