East Cornwall hotel found ablaze in the early hours of this morning

AN EAST Cornwall hotel was found ablaze in the early hours of this morning.

Two fire crews from Bodmin and one unit from Lostwithiel attended the disused property on St Nicholas Street, Bodmin, as calls came in at around 4.30am.

The fire was on the building's ground floor and was tackled by six firefighters using hose jets and breathing apparatus.

Nobody was inside the hotel and no injuries have been reported.

    Hotel? Oh you mean the derelect grotty old pub which used to be the George and Dragon...............well no loss there then! Three fire engines from two stations and yet only six fire fighters?
