A beach bar in Perranporth will be welcoming crisp loving band The Mariachis for a special one off performance.
The Watering Hole will be saying ‘hola’ to The Mariachis on June 14 in a unique Mexican themed evening.
The night will include Mexican food, lashings of tequila and music from the America’s.
Tom Job, director and manager at the Watering Hole, said: “I’m looking forward to having the band in as they play really great music.
“We’ve already sold around 500 tickets so it’s shaping up to be a really good night.”
The Mariachis, made up of Salvador, Roberto, Farman, Limber and Juan (whose real name is Terry), found UK fame on the Doritos crisp adverts.
The band play authentic Mexican music alongside covers pop songs including the Human League’s “Don’t You Want Me Baby” and “Stay Another Day” by 90s heartthrobs East 17.
Dressed in traditional costume, the five men are well known around the world and have sung for the president of Mexico, performed at the BAFTAs and appeared at a Formula 1 Grand Prix race.
The Watering Hole will also be hosting gigs by Wheatus, Billy Ocean, The Hoosiers and Otis Redding Jr among others throughout the spring and the summer.
