A DELIVERY DRIVER, who was locked in the back of his van when the door closed behind him, was released by fire crews earlier this morning.

Fire crews from St Just used crash rescue equipment to reach the casualty shortly before 11.30am on Moorland Close.

Police and paramedics were also in attendance and the man was released unharmed.

2nd Para. "Fire crews from St Just used crash rescue equipment to reach the casualty" (the man in the back of the van). 3rd Para. "the man was released unharmed." All the online dictionaries state that a casualty is someone who has been killed or injured. Am I the only one thats puzzled here?
