CORNWALL'S financial future was the topic of discussion during a recent event at Truro College.
Cornwall Chamber of Commerce hosted 'Cornish question time' at the Fal Building.
The topic of debate was how the £593 million coming to Cornwall in the third round of EU funding will help the most disadvantaged people in the county, focusing partially on affordable housing.
Solar farms were also discussed, and suggestions were welcomed for how the money could be used to make Cornwall prosperous.
Kim Conchie, chief executive officer of the Cornwall chamber, said: "Chairing the discussion with such a formidable panel was a pleasure. I think we covered some areas of real interest to the people of Cornwall. I am adamant that these views will inform the direction Cornwall and Scilly move in over the next few years."
The chamber thanked its sponsors and host.
