The awful weather has, not surprisingly, taken a massive toll on the Cornish sporting weekend, with Truro City's game at Burnham among the victims.

In football, the Carlsberg SWPL premier division games are all off and in Division One West just the Bude v Wadebridge Town game remains, while in the Throgmorton Cup the only surviving tie is Sticker v Godolphin (2pm).

In the Jolly's Combination League the two only matches still on are at Goonhavern and St Ives Town.

All games in the ECPL have been postponed.

In rugby, St Austell’s trip to Chard on South West One West has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch and a number of other games have suffered a similar fate.
