CORNWALL start their MCCA Trophy campaign on Sunday when they take on Hertfordshire at Werrington (11am).
It's the first time a one day game has been staged at Ladycross, though two championship games were played there in the late nineties.
The game should be an interesting encounter, if last year's encounter at North Mymms is a guide.
Cornwall chased down the home side's 243 to win by three wickets with a ball to spare. Matt Robins, David Roberts and Tom Sharp all made half centuries.
The win saw Cornwall through to the quarter finals where they lost to the eventual champions Cumberland.
Cornwall's XI was still to be named at time of going to press.
Former St Buryan spinner Shakil Ahmed has taken over as the professional this year from Keith Parsons.
