To put a stop to this the petition needs to be signed at http://tinyurl.com/6fff99f it needs 1000 sigs to be taken back to the scrutiny committee, and 5000 for it to be taken back and discussed fully by full council, so please sign the petition, we cannot allow the cabinet to get away with this undemocracy .

Hi cheekyman_jr - That is right - the councillors who voted "for" were in favour of the motion which was calling on the council to withdraw. Those who voted "against" are in favour of the shared services project. And, yes, there were a lot of absentees.

Can I just have a bit of information? This is a vote of those who voted For the withdrawl from the venture? Those who voted "For" are those who are against the idiotic idea? Those who voted "Against" are those who want to sell Cornwall down the river and have never heard of CSC? Is that right? There seems to be a lot of absentees, surely they should've been there for such an important issue?
