Cornish Pirates Director of Rugby Ian Davies sticks with the same match day squad as named for last weekend’s postponed game against London Welsh as they travel to Billesley common to face Moseley in the Greene King Championship on Friday (7.30pm), writes Dick Straughan.
Flanker Chris Morgan will lead the side as he makes his 150th appearance for the club and recent dual-registered signing from Exeter Chiefs, Will Carrick-Smith, is set to make his debut from the bench.
With no injuries in training this week to disrupt the Pirates selection there are returns to action for wing Matt Evans and Number 8 Laurie McGlone, whilst centre Tom Hendrickson gets a rare start in midfield where he will partner Junior Fatialofa.
Young half-back duo Angus Sinclair and Mike Pope are given the nod to start with Tom Kessell and Kieran Hallett on the bench.
Moseley make two changes from the starting XV they named for the postponed fixture between the two clubs a fortnight ago.
Fly-half Will Hooley takes over from Caolan Ryan whilst in the front row Adam Parkin comes in at tight-head from former Wales international Ben Evans.
Former Pirate and Moseley’s top points scorer of the season so far, Ollie Thomas, is named among the replacements.
