Cornish Pirates Director of Rugby Ian Davies makes several changes to his line-up for Sunday's re-arranged Greene King Championship clash with London Welsh at the Mennaye Field (3pm, writes Dick Straughan.
Buoyed by a fine display in defeat against league leaders Bristol just a week ago the Pirates boss predictably keeps faith with the majority of that squad but fit-again Mike Pope comes in on the wing for the injured Kieran Goss.
Rheon James and Tom Riley continue with the all-Welsh centre pairing which impressed at the Memorial Ground with Tom Hendrickson dropping to the bench.
Up front Shane Cahill takes over at loose-head from Kieran Davies and Rob Elloway returns at hooker with Aaron Carpenter moving to the rear of the scrum to replace the injured Laurie McGlone at Number 8.
In the second row Neale Patrick has passed a fitness test on a back injury and will be partnered by Darren Barry who missed last Sunday`s game.
Chris Morgan takes over the captaincy as he comes into the back row for Joe Atkinson, who in turn drops to the bench.
London Welsh make nine changes for the game with Alan Awcock, Seb Stegmann and Sonny Parker all coming into the side, whilst former Cornish Pirate James Tincknell moves from inside to outside centre.
In the forwards, Alec Hepburn and Nathan Vella are named alongside Peter Edwards in the front row. Ben West partners Pete Browne in the second row.
Ollie Stedman, fresh from his two tries in last weekend's win over Moseley, starts at number eight. Daniel Browne moves from number eight to blindside flanker in place of Mitch Lees.
The bench includes Ian Nimmo, who spent two seasons at the Cornish Pirates, in which he made 60 appearances and scored three tries.
