The Cornish Pirates have acted to boost their options at srum-half, with New Zealand-born No 9 Conner Fullerton joining the squad on a short-term deal.
The Championship side have been without long-serving scrum-half and club captain Gavin Cattle for lengthy periods this season. He is due to have an operation, while back up Mike Pope is injured.
The signing of Fullerton arrival will provide much needed cover for leading try Tom Kessell, who has scored eight touchdowns in the league this year, with important games against Bristol, London Welsh, Nottingham and Plymouth Albion to come in March.
They also take Pontypridd in the quarter-finals of the British and Irish Cup on April 6.
Fullerton played his youth rugby at Ohaupo Rugby Club in New Zealand. As a member of Hamilton Old Boys, he was selected to play for Waikato Under-18s.
