COASTGUARDS are warning people wanting to get out and about this weekend to take extra care if they are walking on the South West Coast Path.
As Cornwall looks forward to a rare dry day after days of rain, a spokesman said: “The coast path can be absolutely lethal at the moment.
“With all the recent storms, the ground is saturated and could easily slip away down the cliffs.
“The soil has been undermined and everything is very slippy. I would urge people to take extra care and keep their dogs on a lead.”
