CLIC Sargent’s charity shop in Camborne is appealing for donations to make sure it stays stocked up in the New Year.

Good quality items are needed to help boost funds for CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading charity for children and young people.

Shop manager Julia Cook, who runs the shop in Trelowarren Street, said: “Now Christmas is over maybe you have some unwanted presents that need a new home or perhaps you’re clearing space to make way for all your new gifts? If you have any items which you no longer want we’d be happy to have them to sell at our shop.

“The money we raise goes to help children and young people and their families. At the CLIC Sargent shop in Camborne we’re particularly in need of good quality clothing, books and toys. The funds we raise will go towards our services supporting children and young people with cancer. For example, just one jumper sold could pay for one hour of a CLIC Sargent Play Specialist’s time, helping a child prepare for and cope with treatment.”

CLIC Sargent offers practical, financial and emotional support to help children and young people cope with cancer and make the most out of life. The charity has 27 charity shops as well as an online eBay shop.

Items can be dropped off at the CLIC Sargent shop at 58 Trelowarren Street between 9:30am – 4:30am Monday - Saturday. For more information contact Julia on 01209 711110.
