Aaron Carpenter takes over the captaincy of the Cornish Pirates as they bid to make it three wins out of three against Bristol at the Memorial Ground on Sunday (1pm).
The Canadian skippered the side for the first time when they beat Ayr in the British & Irish Cup in January and now gets a chance to do the same in the Greene King Championship as they take on the league leaders.
Pirates Director of Rugby Ian Davies makes several changes to the team which overcame Jersey a week ago with Kieran Davies coming into the front row to replace Shane Cahill. Joe Atkinson is the other change in the pack as he takes over on the flank from Chris Morgan.
In the backs, Max Bodilly keeps his place at full-back following his try scoring debut last time out, with Craig Holland back into the starting line up for the injured Kyle Moyle. Tom Hendrickson is in at centre in place of Junior Fatialofa.
On the bench there is a likely league debut for new scrum-half signing Conner Fullerton, while Rheon James and Tom Duncan both return from their loans spells at Aberavon. Will Graulich and Jake Parker are also recalled.
For Bristol, Stuart McInally is set for his first start and is one of seven changes for Andy Robinson's side, who go in search of an eighth successive victory in the Greene King IPA Championship.
Adam Hughes is also named in the starting line-up for the first time, while Auguy Slowik and Andy Short return to the side.
In the pack, Ben Glynn and James Hall earn starts, while Mitch Eadie is included at No8.
