The cream of Cornwall’s wedding businesses will gather at the Carbis Bay Wedding Fayre in February.

The Carbis Bay Hotel, itself a top Cornish wedding venue, will host the fayre on Sunday February 16.

Florists, caterers, dressmakers and photographers will be among the businesses exhibiting their wares.

Running from 11am until 4pm, the event is free to attend but the hotel will be collecting donations to go to the charity Children’s Hospice South West.

There will be welcome drinks from Polgoon Winery on arrival, canapés and mini spa treatments available, as well as live swing, jazz and classical music.

Bridal displays at 11.30am and 2.30pm will show off some of the exhibitors’ wedding dresses.

Stephen Baker, owner of the Carbis Bay Hotel and Spa said: “Our Wedding Fayre will be a prestigious event, featuring the very best of Cornwall’s wedding suppliers. Whether you’re looking for a florist or tips on hair and make-up, you’ll be able to find it here, overlooking one of the most beautiful bays in the world.”

The hotel is also offering a Valentine’s special offer for visitors wishing to stay for the weekend.
