Firefighters scrambled to Leedstown in Hayle yesterday evening following reports a caravan was on fire.
When the crews arrived they found the caravan had been completely destroyed.
A spokesman from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said the alarm was raised at around 9.35pm.
“On crews’ arrival the caravan was totally destroyed by fire.The fire had also spread to an adjacent porta-cabin," the spokesman said.
Twelve firefighters attended the scene and extinguished the caravan using hose reels and a jet.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
