A CAR snapped an electricity pole in half and ended up on its roof in an accident in Bodmin this afternoon.
Nobody is thought to have been injured and electrical engineers were called to make the scene between Westheath Avenue and Corporation Road safe.
Police cordoned the area off at around 5.20pm.
A fire service spokesman said: “Five firefighters from Bodmin attended a call to a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a car and electric pole, the car then rolled onto its roof. No persons were trapped in the car, however the pole had snapped at its base as a result of the collision.”
