Car on its roof after hail storm on A38 near Trerulefoot roundabout

A motorist had a lucky escape this morning after his car rolled onto its roof during a hail storm.

The male driver of the yellow Peugeot 206 sustained "a bump to the head" after his car rolled three or four times and landed on the verge on the A38 west of the Trerulefoot roundabout at 8:35am.

Police say they beleive the collision happened on the southbound carriageway.

An ambulance was called as a precaution.

The road is open but debris from the vehicle and a tree still needs ot be cleared.

    People tend to speed up a LOT round here when it starts raining, the numptys - usually racing for the single lane merge for no good reason. There was another accident at the same spot tonight. Gawd knows what happened there.

    What this news item fails to say is that if the driver of the vehicle was driving at a safe speed for the weather conditions at the time, the vehicle would not have rolled over !!!!! NOT ROCKET SCIENCE IS IT !!!!!
