Supporters of a tidal swimming pool in Penzance are worried about its future following the recent storms.
Friends of Jubilee Pool posted pictures of the destruction on Facebook on Sunday.
The message says: "There has been some serious structural damage at the far western end of the pool caused by waves overtopping the pool.
"Numerous paving slabs have been dislodged and a hole has appeared exposing the interior of the structure.
"The scaffolding was installed around three years ago and was covered with wooden shuttering to prevent access to the cubicles- principally for health and safety reasons because of suspected subsidence. The wooden shuttering has been destroyed exposing the scaffold structure.
"Only time will tell, but clearly this raises the serious issue of how to ensure this much loved building is saved for the longer term."
The group is due to have discussions in early March with the owner Cornwall Council and operator Tempus Leisure.
The group has issued a message saying: "But if you care about the pool please join our group and you can help us start to plan a secure and sustainable future for Jubilee Pool."
