A CAMBORNE woman is to hold a coffee morning in memory of her grandad, who died of lung cancer.

India Lane's grandfather lost his battle with cancer caused by radon gas he inhaled when working as a tin miner in South Crofty.

Miss Lane's coffee morning will take place at the Red River Café, Heartlands, on September 26, and will be part of Macmillan's World's Biggest Coffee Morning, a national initiative raising money for the charity.

The event will kick off at 10am and run until noon.
