STUDENTS at Cornwall College Camborne have teamed up to produce a Gothic glamour theatre production.
The fashion, beauty and literature students worked together to get a vision of the Gothic era of literature incorporating also fashion and beauty elements to the production themed "Dinner with the Deceased".
Monologues of famous Gothic literary pieces and students' own written materials were also read out.
Fashion and clothing course manager Ray Maitland, said: "The fashion students had a vital role in this project and had to research the era to get a feel of the atmosphere that surrounds Gothic literature
"It gave them an opportunity to use non-traditional materials and allow them to manipulate the fabric to create all the looks required for the production."
The English students were able to provide the knowledge of Gothic literature to their peers and by presenting a visualisation of what the Gothic era entailed while the fashion and beauty students were able to create pieces and looks to make the project look complete.
