FALMOUTH Town's impressive start to the year now seems a distant memory after they slipped to their fifth straight defeat at Camelford on Tuesday night.
Town, beaten 2-0 at Godolphin Atlantic on Saturday, failed to bounce back at Trefrew Road as the Camels ran out 3-2 winners.
Rob Wearne and Joe Cooper were on target for Falmouth on what was a disappointing evening for boss John Dent, who felt his side had done enough to get something from the game, having led 2-1.
He said: "In the second half we bombarded them and should have scored three or four. It was was really frustrating."
On Saturday, second half strikes from Phil Lowry and Josh Harris consigned Falmouth to defeat at Godolphin Way.
Dent will be looking for a positive response from his players on Saturday when they host troubled Bovey Tracey, who were thrashed 11-0 at Newquay on Saturday.
