THE organisers of a hugely popular charity music event have local bands, Cornish breweries and stallholders lined up for this year's event to make it big and better than before.
Rock the Box is being held over the Bank Holiday weekend starting on Saturday in Mithian.
The event, which takes place in a field behind the Miners Arms, is a mixture of live music, local stalls, real ales and tasty food from the barbecue all in aid of raising much-needed money for ShelterBox. This year sees a beer festival with a range of cask ale from Cornish breweries with all monies made from the ales going to the charity.
The event was started by Anouska House and Ceinwyn Morgans in August 2010. Over the years they have raised more than £7,000 for the charity.
