The body of a man has been recovered from the bottom of cliffs at Hell’s Mouth.
A walker raised the alarm after spotting the body yesterday morning around 8.30am.
Falmouth Coastguard confirmed a helicopter from 771 Naval Air Squadron from RNAS Culdrose, Portreath cliff rescue team and both the inshore and all-weather life boats from St Ives were called to recover the body.
A spokesman from Devon and Cornwall police said: “We can confirm that the body of a man was recovered from the bottom of the cliffs at Hell’s Mouth yesterday. The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
"Next of kin have been informed."
