Truro's newest restaurant has opened - with an official blessing from the city’s bishop.

The Bishop of Truro, the Right Reverend Tim Thornton, opened the new Sunny Spice restaurant at what was previously The Barley on Old Bridge Street.

Noel Krishnan, known to all as Sunny, formerly of the city’s Kathmandu Palace, said the restaurant would be the first in Cornwall and Devon to introduce South Indian cuisine to the area.
